Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Sierra Pallet collects, uses, and handles information through sierrapallet.com (the “Site”). It applies to information submitted through the Site and technical information generated when the Site is used. It does not apply to independently operated websites or services.
Information You Provide
When you submit the quote or contact form, Sierra Pallet may receive information including:
- Your contact name, company name, work email address, and telephone number.
- Your delivery or pickup location.
- Pallet type, specifications, dimensions, quantity, frequency, and requested timing.
- Any message details or other information you choose to include with your request.
Information Collected Automatically
The Site’s hosting systems may automatically create technical logs when pages or files are requested. Those logs may include an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, and similar diagnostic information. This information supports security, troubleshooting, performance, and reliable website operation.
Analytics and Cookies
Sierra Pallet uses Google Analytics 4 to measure use of the Site. Google Analytics may collect page views, session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, referral information, and first-party identifiers such as the _ga cookie. Sierra Pallet uses Analytics for measurement only—not for advertising or remarketing—and has disabled Google signals and advertising-personalization signals.
The quote and contact form uses an essential session cookie for form security, spam prevention, and reliable submission handling. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the form from working correctly.
The form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to identify and prevent automated submissions. When Turnstile loads or verifies a submission, Cloudflare may receive technical information about the request, browser, and device for security and fraud-prevention purposes. You can review Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
You can review Google’s Privacy Policy and install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
The Contact page includes an embedded Google Map. When the map loads, your browser connects to Google, which may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, the page URL, and cookies in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
How Information Is Used
Sierra Pallet may use information collected through the Site to:
- Respond to inquiries and prepare requested quotes.
- Evaluate pallet requirements, specifications, quantities, locations, and timing.
- Communicate about requested products or services.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the Site.
- Improve website reliability and performance.
- Maintain appropriate business records and meet applicable legal obligations.
How Information Is Shared
Information may be shared with service providers that support website hosting, form delivery, email, security, and related technical operations. Form submissions may be processed by Sierra Pallet’s website service provider solely to deliver and manage the inquiry. Cloudflare processes technical information to provide Turnstile security and spam prevention. Google acts as an analytics service provider and receives the technical and usage information described above. Technical information is also shared with Google when the embedded map is loaded. These providers may process information under their own privacy practices.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transfer.
Sierra Pallet does not sell personal information collected through this website.
Data Retention and Security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, support customer relationships, maintain appropriate business records, protect the Site, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. Retention may vary depending on the nature of the information and the reason it was collected.
Sierra Pallet and its service providers use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information handled through the Site. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Choices and Requests
Where applicable, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with a website inquiry by emailing info@sierrapallet.com. Sierra Pallet may need to verify a request before responding.
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through browser settings. Disabling the essential form cookie may prevent the quote or contact form from functioning correctly.
