Choosing a pallet

One Supplier. Nearly Every Pallet Requirement.

The right pallet depends on its dimensions, load and weight distribution, handling environment, shipping requirements, order volume, and budget. Sierra Pallet helps commercial buyers work through those considerations before selecting a product.

New Pallets Built to Your Specifications

New pallets are assembled from new lumber for buyers who need a consistent specification, a defined configuration, or a pallet designed around a particular load and handling process.

Applications

Manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, repeat shipping programs, and operations that need consistent pallet construction.

Options to Discuss

Standard 48" × 40" GMA formats, stringer or block construction, two-way or four-way entry where applicable, and different wood grades and species.

Used, reconditioned & remanufactured

Practical Reconditioned and Remanufactured Pallet Options

Used pallets have been in service previously, reconditioned pallets are inspected and repaired for continued use, and remanufactured pallets are built with recycled pallet lumber to meet an identified configuration.

Applications

General distribution, warehousing, domestic shipping, and programs where a suitable recycled pallet can meet the operating requirement.

Options to Discuss

Used 48" × 40" stringer pallets have historically been offered in #1 and #2 grades. Ask about current sizes, grades, condition, entry, and availability.

Custom Pallets and Crates Designed Around Your Operation

Custom pallets and crates are developed for loads, dimensions, entry requirements, or shipping conditions that are not well served by a standard pallet or off-the-shelf packaging.

Applications

Oversized or unusual products, manufacturing processes, specialized handling, repeat shipments, and operations seeking a right-sized pallet or protective wooden crate.

Options to Discuss

Custom pallet configurations—including block, wing, and stringer options—and crate designs can be discussed along with dimensions, entry direction, wood selection, storage conditions, and domestic or export use.

Options to Discuss

Dimensions, pallet design, entry, handling equipment, storage conditions, intended use, quantity, and current product availability.
