PALLET BUILDER/REPAIRER

Job Description:

Job Type: Full-time
Status: Non-Exempt
Shift: Day
Benefits Offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Monthly Bonus Program

Responsibilities:

Building pallets
Repairing pallets
Using Pneumatic Nail Guns
Quality checking lumber pieces, hammering nails that are sticking out and reviewing production sheets for accuracy on a daily basis.

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year experience using Pneumatic nail gun or Staple gun
Must have strong verbal communication
Punctual, this team member needs to be on time!
Prioritizes SAFETY, then QUALITY, followed by PRODUCTION and SPEED!
Always ensures a safe work environment for self and others.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously
Standing during entire shift with no physical limitations.
Occasional bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting.
Must have verifiable references
Must be able to work the entire shift
Must be flexible to work overtime

Supplemental Info:

Training period is 2-3 days. Following training, pay is switched to a piece work rate and is based on quantity and size of pallets built. The MORE YOU BUILD the MORE you MAKE!
Shifts are Monday–Friday from 7:00 am–3:30 pm
