PLANT MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Job Description:

Job Type: Full-time
Status: Non-exempt
Benefits Offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Monthly Bonus Program

The Plant Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining production equipment as well as building maintenance. Equipment includes saws, conveyors, compressors and other cutting equipment. Light maintenance of forklifts, tractors and trailers as needed

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair all equipment in a timely manner
Keep maintenance area clean and organized
Install new machinery as needed
Keep tractors and trailers in compliance with DOT rules
Maintain all equipment per OSHA regulations

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 5 year of verifiable welding and fabrication experience
Must have a minimum of 5 year of verifiable mechanical experience
Must have a minimum of 5 year of Electrical experience
Must have a minimum of 1 year of Pneumatic experience
Must have strong verbal and written communication
Must have experience in maintaining shop records
Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, squat, and stand with no limitations
Must be able to work and complete tasks with little supervision
Forklift maintenance is a plus
Must have verifiable work history and solid references
Must be flexible to work overtime and some holidays if needed.

Shifts are Monday–Friday from 7:00am–3:30pm. May require occasional weekend work.
