NAILING MACHINE OPERATOR

Job Description:

Job Type: Full-time
Status: Non-exempt
Shift: Day

The Nailing Machine Operator position consists of building pallets based on production needs. This position includes using a pallet nailing machine. While performing this job the employee is constantly standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling with vibrations. The employee is in a loud environment during the workday. Safety equipment is provided.

Responsibilities:

Operating pallet nailing machine
Keeping equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Stacking pallets manually once nailing is complete
Ability to work in a high pace production working environment
Operate some or all tools in a safe manner according to OSHA and company guidelines
Informs management of any safety related issues
Keeps all work areas neat and clear of potential hazards
Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently
Ability to read a tape measure and do basic math functions is required.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Bilingual is a plus!
Must be goal oriented and driven to achieve them
Must have verifiable work history and references
Must have reliable transportation to arrive to work for scheduled shift
Ability to work weekends and some holidays as directed by the business

Supplemental Info:

Shifts are Monday–Friday from 7:00am–3:30pm
